Blender was the first 3D software I was ever introduced to. From the day I downloaded it, I practically 3D modeled and rendered daily for years.
I love working with 3D space and visualization. To be honest, I am not a great artist. I get around color theory and composition to showcase my work, but I enjoy the process more than the product.
Here is a collection of some of my work, it ranges from realism to a bit more stylized pieces.
3D guitar model, based on my G&L Electric Guitar (Stratocaster). This 3D model took over a month to complete, with carful detail to every component and curviture. One detail many 3D guitar models forget to include is the belly and arm cut, these curves in the body of the guitar make it much more comfortable to hold and play. I learned a lot about setting up proper edge flow using a sub-d workflow.
This work features a simple scene, representing scraped ideas that are thrown away.
I wanted to make a piece that felt like a photograph, soft lighting and high quality materials (if I couldn't find it, I procedurally made it).
I used a cloth simulator with a rigid body to make the sticky notes appear crumpled.
Originally designed for a short turoiral series, this render uses many basic techniches such as proporinaly editing, modier stacks, and toon shading to get a stylistic effect.
It was made as a low entry point for jumping into Blender and its many features.
